Nickel plating is a hard wearing finish that can be applied to various different materials and often used decoratively . It produces a brilliant lustrous finish which ages over time to produce a slightly yellow appearance.
To prevent the ageing process of the Nickel on smaller items we can apply Chrome which produces a brilliant blueish non tarnish finish that is so well recognised.

We have many years of experience in the Vintage & Historic Restoration of Cars, Bikes, Motorcycles & Race car components. This process differs from Nickel Plating of new articles, in as much as Nickel cannot be plated over Nickel ! …. so the original finish will need to be removed by an Electro Nickel Stripping Process. This strips the parts back to bare metal ready for Professional Polishing, before applying a new Nickel layer.
