Copper Plating

We offer Copper plating in Cyanide and an request also in Acid based solutions.

Copper is a reddish-orange natural metallic element that is a soft, malleable, and ductile with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. The major applications of copper are electrical, roofing and plumbing, and industrial machinery.

Applications:

Copper has excellent conductive properties and therefore makes it suitable for use with electrical components. When used as a base coat for nickel plating on steel, electroplated copper provides superior protection against corrosion in comparison to other materials. Copper is often used as a base coat for other plated layers due to it’s good adhesion properties.

  • Cyanide Copper Process used predominantly for its great adhesion qualities to most metals. It does however lack the thickness or build-up that Acid Copper offers.
  • Acid Copper Process as an additional which can provide a very thick base layer normally used as an imperfection filler that the Professional Polisher can “melt” and Linish into the metals defects. This can result in perfectly polished, imperfection free metal ideally suited for a Nickel & Chrome top coat.
